Software Engineer – IDE Embedded Software
In a team of devoted software engineers you advance our integrated development environment (IDE) for embedded software. The IDE is used by multiple teams worldwide producing DSP embedded software applications for hearing aid products. It extensively supports model based design and software integration processes, starting from Simulink modelling and reaching to embedded software continuous testing, integration and delivery. Your contribution ensures the IDE evolves and advances along the line of state-of-the-art software development methodologies. Your tasks


  • Evolve the embedded software IDE encompassing all innovation steps including prototyping, product development, continuous test – integration – delivery

  • Analyse and refactor parts of the IDE for increased conceptual integrity, manageable interfaces, modularity and extensibility

  • Design, implement, integrate, test and rollout improvements and new features to the IDE (Python, Matlab, Git and more)

  • Collaborate closely with other IDE software developers and software architects

  • Provide user guides and support to application developers

  • Contribute to our developer-driven team based culture and processes

Your profile


  • BSc/MSc degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent

  • Skilled in object oriented software design and programming (Python or alike)

  • Familiarity in software architecture concepts and design patterns

  • Knowledge in principles of model based design, continuous test – integration – delivery

  • Strong analytical skills, passionate about clean code, result-oriented

  • Proficient in German and English
