Active Material Developer and Project Leader

Stellenbeschreibung

• As a project leader you will be responsible for the scale-up of electroactive material for the next generation of lithium batteries as well as for the evaluation of product performance, safety and cost


• You will engineer and optimize the material properties as a function of the electrode production process


• You will contribute to establish quality standards as used in the industry


• You will evaluate the raw materials suppliers and the machinery suppliers


• You will follow the industry trends and the battery market

Ihr Profil

• PhD or long and wide experience as scientist or engineer in material science, solid state physics and chemistry or battery related fields

Berufliche Anforderungen

• You are an expert in cathode materials used in lithium batteries


• Ideally you have long term experience in the battery field, preferably in lithium batteries


• Practical and theoretical knowledge on:
  - Design, synthesis and characterization of electroactive materials for batteries
  - Powder processing method to manufacture battery electrodes
  - Electrochemical techniques such as galvanostatic and potentiostatic methods
  - Chemical and physical characterization techniques of condensed matter


• Advanced project management capabilities including ability to supervise employees and to work efficiently in a multitasking development environment


• You have a high degree of autonomy

Sprachkenntnisse

• You have very good knowledge of written and spoken English. Good knowledge of French or German is an advantage
