For the Packaging Development department in Zuchwil, we are looking for an Associate Package Qualification/Validation Engineer
The Associate Package Qualification/Validation Engineer is responsible for package design related validation activities. She/he is part of global cross functional teams acting as contact for package system and/or test method validation projects, programs and activities held in the company.
Responsibilities
Supports validation of package systems
Coordinates and executes physical testing to ensure product and package integrity from manufacturing through end users
Creates package distribution and shelf life testing plans, interprets results as required for various projects and communicates those to appropriate groups
Reviews and updates technical reports, procedures, policies and other sources of information to ensure that validations and procedures are consistent with current industry, regulatory requirements and current technology
Supports test method validation to assure a successful and on-time implementation of the equipment in our test laboratory
Interprets all test method validation results and creates related documentation
Assures delivery of robust, cost effective, fully compliant package solutions that meet current and evolving customers’ needs
Drives continuous improvement of package solutions and implements innovations
Investigates deviations to determine the impact on the product quality, the cause and corrective actions to preclude further deviations of a similar nature (CAPAs)
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent Technical Degree required
Fluency in English is required, good knowledge of German would be a strong asset
Team Player with strong passion for packaging tests, metrology and quality assurance
Ability to work in global cross functional teams is required
Problem solving skills and ability to work independently are required
Requires some travel up to 10 %
