Senior Fund Product Developer  



Senior Fund Product Developer, responsible for the implementation of funds related activities (creation, restructuring etc…) within the Private Bank and reporting to the Fund Structuring head.

You will be responsible for the following:


1. Fund Factory:



  • Product development of PrivilEdge, our external managers’ UCITS platform, and close partnership with our open architecture team, in charge of the selection of external managers. Frequent interactions with the 30 existing external investment managers of the platform.

  • Product development of dedicated and public funds (SICAV, sub-funds, etc…) managed by LO.



Tasks will include:



  • Leadership on Launch, merger, restructuration and liquidation projects

  • Coordination with the Investment managers (internal or external), Management Company, Boards, custodian, administrator…

  • Review of legal prospectus from Luxembourg, Jersey, Switzerland…

  • Assisting legal counsel in preparing legal documents required for fund launches (IMA, IAA, KIID etc…)

  • Coordination of operational implementation



2. Fund Monitoring :



  • Involved in eligibility questions, share class policy and regulatory developments (ex: MiFid II, FIDLEG…)

  • Hot Line for private bankers for fund related questions

  • Fund Specialist status: support to private bankers (including clients’ meetings)

  • Research and definition of optimal fund solution for private clients


 


 Desired profile:



  • Solid understanding and experience in fund structures in various jurisdictions: mainly Luxembourg (SICAV or FCP, UCITS, SIF) but experience in other jurisdictions (Jersey, Bahamas…) a plus. Solid grasp of regulatory and compliance requirements.

  • Strong technical skills and at ease to deal with technical issues and get involved in operational matters to ensure timely fund launches

  • Direct experience in fund business development position (risk, compliance profiles may also be considered) either at a Management Company, Asset Management firm or ideally within a private bank

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English

  • Ability to work autonomously and to liaise and cooperate with other units within the Bank

  • Resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate to Switzerland
