We are looking for a Personal Assistant to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Biopharm Operations (BiO). The ideal candidate should be energetic, driven, detail-oriented, and possess excellent coordination and prioritization skills. About the department Biopharm Operations (BiO) is the head office of the Biopharmaceuticals business of Novo Nordisk and is headed by the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Biopharm Operations. BiO is responsible for the commercialisation of Novo Nordisk’s products within the Biopharmaceuticals area that includes growth disorders, haemophilia, and women’s health. This role sits with the BiO team in our Zurich-based offices and reports directly to the SVP. The individual will work alongside the Executive Assistant (EA) to the SVP in supporting the SVP in driving the Biopharm business globally. The position The main responsibility of this position will be to support the SVP through smooth operation of various processes such as planning and scheduling meetings, travel arrangements,liaising with different stakeholders on meeting agendas, handling department budgets and front office tasks. Other tasks include handling confidential matters, managing contracts and identifying and implementing opportunities to enhance administrative efficiencies. In addition, you will ensure the smooth running of departmental and SVP meetings and assist in planning events such as off-sites. The position offers a diverse role with a wide range of tasks. It requires strong administrative and organisational skills, a high degree of independence and attention to detail as well as the ability to handle diverse information of varying levels of confidentiality. An ability to prioritize, readiness to action, and an initiative to react and seek alternative solutions as well as be proactive when needed are part of everyday functioning in this position.
