To implement and drive the Alcon Global Physical &Technical Security strategy across specific region.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the proper management of a global contracted professional guard force which provides protection for physical assets and personnel. Ensure all sites follow state and federal regulations as they pertain to physical security at pharmaceutical device sites regulated by the US FDA, DEA, or appropriate governing body.
• Oversee a comprehensive program of cutting-edge closed-circuit television, alarms and alarm monitoring, card access, and visitor registration systems.
• Conduct security risk assessments of Alcon’s strategic commercial, manufacturing, headquarters facilities within region.
• Manage intelligence-led risk assessments of all Alcon facilities utilizing various intelligence models to ensure the site security footprint adequately adapts to any real or perceived threats to the Alcon business.
• Partner with Alcon REFS regional managers on security strategies in conjunction with Alcon strategic manufacturing, commercial, real estate requirements.
• Strategic planning/justification for budgets, staffing, contract maintenance, resource allocation, asset replenishment (capital/expense) while partner with peers & direct reports when coordinating facilities security management within region.Minimum requirementsMinimum Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience at a global level is required.
Fluent in English (essential), additional European language desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial security, law enforcement, military, or a combination thereof is preferred.
• Strong knowledge in financial/budgetary processes
• Ability to lead diverse groups and encourage coalescence around a common goal.
• Well organized, detailed oriented, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain partnerships with internal as well as external organizations to achieve goals. Ability to build relationships and manage key vendors
• Ability to be a champion for change and continuous improvement across Alcon REFS and the business.
• Proven success in a collaborative environment, Ability to excel in cross-functional teams with multiple stake holders.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
