MAIN PURPOSE:


This temporary position provides a strong support to the Underwriting team, including but not limited to, high quality administrative support. The level of responsibilities the job ultimately entails beyond the administration of contracts will be driven by the motivation, ambition and skill level of the candidate. We are looking for a candidate, who can start as soon as possible until the end of 2018 or later.


KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Accurate and timely input of treaty data in the system (SICS or RWS) throughout the underwriting lifecycle (submission through binding), with a key focus on the maintenance of high data quality

  • Maintain, organize and complete underwriting support filing system (paper and electronic), ensure documentation is suitable for both internal and external audit

  • Preparation of data related to underwriting (i.e. preparation of underwriting worksheet with raw data, tracking of deadlines etc.), risk assessment, exposure data, business planning  and portfolio monitoring

  • Assist in the reporting and analysis of the business

  • Utilizing various software tools to capture and summarize underwriting information

  • Ad hoc project work and other duties as requested 


REQUIRED EDUCATION/TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:


Technical Skills:   



  • First hand RWS / SICS knowledge and / or prior insurance / reinsurance experience required

  • Flair for figures and IT applications

  • Fluent in English and French

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
