Your role:

– You will be directly reporting to the Section Head
– You will be doing a 1 year rotation program, which includes 3 months stages in FX Pre Settlement, FX Post Settlement, CLS (Continuous Linked Settlement) and Precious Metals Vault
– After this year you'll be joining the teams where it is needed, as a so called \"all-rounder\" to fill the gaps in the tams
– You will be responsible for the Sections' PEX and Robotics program
– You will be learning various products such as Foreign Exchange, Money Market/Fiduciary, Precious Metals, Vanilla/Exotic Options, Structured Products, CLS, Physical Metals

Your team:
You will be directly reporting to the Section Head of the organization who is responsible for 4 Teams (FX Pre Settlement, FX Post Settlement, CLS and Precious Metals physical which are part of the Investment Bank Operations Switzerland organization. The teams are split between Opfikon and Altstetten.
The teams are covering UBS Switzerland AG and UBS AG pre and post settlement activities for above mentioned products. The team has daily interaction with Trading/Sales and Middle-office, Service Management, Finance and Product Control, Pre Settlements, Cash Management, IT and external clients.
Your expertise:
You have:
– certain product knowledge
– command of Microsoft Excel
– knowledge of accounting principles and banking products
– a commercial degree (banking apprenticeship)
– great computer skills and the willingness to learn new programs
You are/have:
– Motivated to go over an extensive year to learn lots of new products / systems / teams
– Very flexible
– able to support the section head on daily bases when necessary
– an excellent communicator
– must be detail-oriented, especially while multi-tasking
– able to work pro-actively, cooperatively with the offshore team in India as well as independently
– totally focused on client service and team collaboration
– willing to do shifts only during 3 months rotation period (05.30 – 15.00 and 15.00 – 24.00)
– able to work under pressure and deliver output to tight deadlines and of a high standard
– motivated, self-directed and driven (always staying up to date and improving)
– a solid understanding of risk and know when to escalate risks/issues to senior management
– interested in PEX methodology and Robotics AI
– Fluent in German and English
