We​ ​are​ ​seeking​ ​to​ ​appoint​ ​immediately​ ​or​ ​as​ ​soon​ ​as​ ​possible,​ ​a Senior​ ​Frontend​ ​Developer (100%) to​ ​complement​ ​our​ ​team.

You enjoy new challenges and never lose sight of the overall picture in hectic situations. You work using the agile SCRUM process. Ideally, you already have startup experience. You are comfortable with assuming responsibility and are not afraid to make mistakes. You will work directly with our Senior Lead Developer, our Frontend​ ​Developer​ ​and​ ​the​ ​Product​ ​Owner.

Responsibilities

• On-going​ ​development​ ​of​ ​the​ ​Frontend​ ​based​ ​on​ ​React


• Innovation/​ ​contributing​ ​to​ ​shaping​ ​new​ ​functionalities/​ ​optimization


• Process​ ​optimization​ ​within​ ​all​ ​systems


• Feasibility​ ​analysis​ ​of​ ​new​ ​concepts


• Collaboration​ ​with​ ​external​ ​resources

 
Skills

• Proven​ ​professional​ ​experience​ ​in​ ​software​ ​development​ ​using​ ​JavaScript, specifically​ ​React​ ​along​ ​with​ ​other​ ​common​ ​libraries


• A​ ​knack​ ​for​ ​writing​ ​clean,​ ​readable​ ​ES6​ ​code


• Solid​ ​understanding​ ​of​ ​object-oriented​ ​programming


• Experience​ ​in​ ​the​ ​sectors​ ​of​ ​software​ ​architecture/​ ​systems​ ​planning​ ​and systems​ ​security


• High​ ​levels​ ​of​ ​initiative,​ ​self-motivation​ ​and​ ​dedication


• English​ ​is​ ​your​ ​working​ ​language;​ ​knowledge​ ​of​ ​German​ ​beneficial

 
Moreover,​ ​you​ ​have​ ​experience​ ​with​ ​the​ ​following​ ​technologies​ ​and​ ​tools

• Ruby​ ​on​ ​Rails​ ​knowledge​ ​is​ ​a​ ​strong​ ​plus


• RESTful​ ​APIs​ ​and​ ​web​ ​services


• Ajax​ ​and​ ​JSON


• Relational​ ​databases​ ​and​ ​SQL


• Deep​ ​HTML5,​ ​CSS3​ ​knowledge


• MVC,​ ​Stateless​ ​Services,​ ​SOLID​ ​principles


• TDD,​ ​Unit​ ​Testing​ ​and​ ​continuous​ ​integration


• Version​ ​Control,​ ​in​ ​particular​ ​Git


• UNIX/Linux/OSX​ ​experience


• Experience​ ​with​ ​Node.js​ ​and​ ​Docker​ ​ecosystem​ ​will​ ​be​ ​considered​ ​a​ ​plus.
