What are we looking for?


We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced global project pursuit director to join our executive team within SPS to be based in England, United Kingdom.


What will you be doing every day?


· Managing an international deployed sales force, that works with EPC, Integrators, Distributors and large scale plant projects.


· Lead Business Development Managers in Projects and Strategic Accounts and C suite


· Responsible for global projects & major accounts


· Develop business plans for the fixed gas product lines & vertical market along with go to market strategies that help pave the way for long term profitable growth.


· Extensive experience within Oil & Gas, or other industrial segments, mining, chemicals etc.


· Responsible for early identification of project pipe line, FEED, Budgeting, bid & proposal, through to implementation of engineering solution.


· Responsible for leading the transformation of our sales to market, software and solution.


· Manage and control the spending of your expenses to the budget submitted as part of the AOP.

YOU MUST HAVE


· Minimum 10 years’ experience in a sales/marketing environment selling industrial safety, products into the specifier/contracting/end user community preferably through strategic accounts


· Minimum 5 years’ experience of managing sales teams in a multi-cultural environment across multiple territories


· Be a proven people manager, Experience in managing people managers, both direct and in a matrix structure.


· Track record in achieving annual operating plans, driving organic growth.


· Leading sales cycle, med >long term sale cycle process


· Executive presence, gravitas – C Suite customer level exposure


· Strong understanding of market place, Gas detection, or flame detection, and exposure to Oil & Gas segments, eco system


· At least 5 years selling an engineering product.


· Self-motivated team player, able to work under own initiative as well as in a multi-cultural team spanning numerous time zones and cultures.

· The position requires significant travel and the associated personal flexibility.
