If you’re a proven System engineer or System architect who understands the coming revolution in “The Internet of Things” and end to end architectures required to support these ecosystems, from end device to infrastructure to mobile applications then we’ve got a great job for you. We are looking for a system engineer and architect to support connected homes products and services.


We need someone who has experience in architecting and system engineering of end to end connected systems from edge devices to high availability back office systems that can support millions of devices and connect them reliably to millions of end users and associated mobile and web applications. Someone who can work as part of an agile team supporting mobile development teams, back office development teams, data scientists, and connected home partners. We are looking for someone who can support multiple fast paced projects using global teams. The team is a small and nimble with limited hierarchy. This position will have high visibility. The position will be located in Rolle Switzerland. We are looking for candidates that will provide hands-on leadership and will be passionate about architecting our systems end to end to provide our users with a world class 5 star experience. You will work in our growing global architecture, system engineering and cyber security team in support of the end to end connected home experience from edge devices to mobile and web applications, products, open API’s, integration of third party services and products, and data and cyber security of service. You will work closely with mobile apps developers, back end developers, product developers, data scientists, the user experience team, product management, software test, and project management to build the new products and services required for connected homes. You will help drive best practices in support of architecture, system engineering, and cyber security functions.

ABOUT YOU


  • Bachelors degree in Engineering

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering

  • You have great leadership and communication skills.

  • You enjoy working in a highly collaborative cross functional environment that is run like a startup.

  • You’re energized by working with strong teams providing system level and architectural guidance.

  • You can roll up your sleeves and jump in the trenches with the teams or contribute individually coding if needed.

  • You can lead cross-functional teams to consensus around complex design problems.

  • You can be an advocate for smart innovation that provides business value.

  • You can make clear data driven decisions on technology selection…Buy vs Build.

  • You’ve got at least a baccalaureate degree in engineering, or computer science.

  • Advanced degrees are a plus.

  • You’ve got extensive experience in system engineering and architecture for end to end systems.
