Department of Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University Hospital Zurich is currently seeking aClinical Pharmacist and Scientific Researcher
We offer an exciting opportunity to contribute to clinical pharmacy education, research and practice in Zurich. The successful, highly motivated candidate will be employed both at the ETH Zurich (50%) and at the University Hospital Zurich (50%).



At ETH, he/she will join the pharmacoepidemiology research group of the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and contribute as a coordinator, lecturer and Master thesis supervisor to the clinical pharmacy education of the ETH Pharmacy Masters curriculum.



At the University Hospital Zurich, the successful candidate will join the Department of Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology and actively participate in the science and clinical practice of medication use, safety and adverse event management, covering the entire spectrum of approved medications. Additionally, he/she will engage in joint research projects between the ETH Zurich pharmacoepidemiology research group and the Department of Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology.
The successful candidate will hold a degree in Pharmacy (Masters and Eidg. Diploma), a post-graduate pharmacy degree (FPH title in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent) and have several years of professional and scientific experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting. A PhD in a health-related field is an asset, and opportunities to complete a PhD on-job will be available to motivated candidates without a PhD. Additionally, the successful candidate will have strong communication skills (verbal and written) in both English and German. The candidate should be highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills to work within an interdisciplinary and cross-institutional team of researchers and clinicians.
